A real app connected to live data, backed by a database and published online so they can share with anyone, including junior college & university admissions.
APIs, databases, structured prompting, debugging. The technical foundations that separate a builder from someone who just uses AI tools.
Something concrete to show universities, competitions, or future employers. Not a screenshot – a working, deployed application.
Real Vibe Coding projects, built with AI and published live during the camp week by students aged 10 to 12.
AI-powered productivity tracker
Stores and retrieves user data
Live URL, portfolio-ready
*Projects may vary. All games shown were built by real Alphagen students during this camp.
Your teen has probably used AI to write essays or get quick answers, but using AI to actually build something is an entirely different skill.
Over five days, your teen learns to work with AI the way professional developers do – writing structured instructions, connecting to live data sources, storing information in databases, and shaping raw AI output into a finished product they fully understand and own.
Every session is 1-on-1 with a dedicated Alphagen teacher who tailors the project direction, pace, and challenge level to your teen specifically. No group catch-up. No generic curriculum.
Why this matters at 13–16
Young people who understand how to combine AI, live data, and databases are not just coders, they are potential founders. These skills can power an application portfolio that stands out, or become the foundation for building something real.
No prior coding experience needed. This camp is designed for complete beginners aged 13–16 who are ready to build something technically substantial.
Prerequisites: None. Open to everyone, no coding experience required
Go from zero to a deployed, database-backed application in 5 days. Every concept builds on the last, and by Day 4, your teen is connecting their project to live data sources and real databases. Something genuinely impressive to show for a week’s work.

Your child starts building
Day 1 - ready to code. VS Code set up with the instructor. By Day 5 a deployed application with a live URL.
Not at all. The camp is designed for complete beginners at any age. The instructor starts from the very beginning, builds concepts progressively, and adapts entirely to your teen’s pace. By Day 4 they will be connecting to live data sources, something that sounds advanced but is entirely achievable with 1-on-1 guidance from Day 1.
The 13–16 camp goes significantly further technically. It introduces APIs (connecting to live data sources) and databases (storing and retrieving information) — concepts not covered in the 10–12 version. The projects produced are portfolio-ready and suitable for university applications and competitions. The pace and complexity are calibrated for teenage learners.
Everything. The project is saved to their own GitHub or Netlify account and deployed with a live URL that anyone can visit. This is a real piece of work, not a classroom exercise. It can be included in university applications, submitted to competitions, or simply shared with people who want to see what they built.
A Windows or Mac laptop with a working microphone, webcam, and mouse. Zoom must be installed before Day 1. VS Code is set up together with the instructor on Day 1, no need to pre-installa. Tablets are not recommended.
Students who complete this camp are well-positioned to continue with our Alpha Innovators weekly programme – deeper AI development, more complex projects, and a longer-term portfolio. We’ll guide you to the right next step when the time comes.
From first project to real-world skills — we’ll be with your child every step of the way.
