Minecraft Education Edition is a special version of Minecraft designed for learning. In this camp, students use it to build, code, and solve challenges together in a safe, collaborative environment-developing coding skills and creativity through guided activities and projects.
The learning benefits of Minecraft are as endless as the game itself. Aside from being a great way to introduce coding to kids, they also learn several different aspects including game design, city planning, sustainability and activate their creativity and critical thinking skills. Minecraft offers a wealth of learning opportunities beyond hours of entertainment.
Students will need a computer (Windows, Mac, Chromebook) that meets the Minecraft Education Edition system requirements, plus a reliable internet connection. No separate purchase is needed; the camp provides access to Minecraft Education Edition for all participants.
