Replit is a browser-based platform for creating and sharing software. It is also a place to learn how to code across multiple programming languages, so they have some fantastic built-in educational features as well. Students can write their code and host it all in the same place.

Web developers are one of the most in-demand roles across several industries, especially with many business depending increasingly on online purchases rather than conventional stores. This introductory course gives students insight as to whether they wish to pursue front-end or back-end development, or consider full stack development.

Students will need a Windows or Mac computer with a connected mic and webcam. They also need to have Zoom installed. We do not recommend tablets, as the multi-tasking ability between Zoom and some browser-based teaching platforms is often unreliable.
