Arduino Camp for Kids: Build Real Electronics
(Ages 10 to 12)

Curious builders who wire things up, not just click things together

Best suited for: Curious kids who love to build things with their hands

⚡ Limited spots this school holiday — same teacher, same slot, all week.

In 5 days, your child will have:

A real live project online

A smart display, distance sensor system, AI-powered interaction, automated traffic signal, a self-running smart device, or anything else they dream up.

Learned how AI + hardware connect

They’ll understand how AI can recognise patterns and trigger real-world actions; not just on screen, but physically. This is the foundation of robotics and IoT.

A clear path into Robotics & IoT

This camp is the right starting point for a longer journey. From here they can grow naturally into our Robotics and IoT module as they get older.

Projects students have built in this camp

Actual Arduino Uno projects, built with coding and AI and during the camp by students aged 10 to 12.

Emotion Detection

AI-Powered Interaction

Smart Parking Assistant

Smart sensing with IR sensor

Traffic Light Control

Automated Systems

*Projects will vary depending on student interests.

Why Arduino and Why Robotics?

Your child probably uses technology every day. But this camp is about building it — connecting a real sensor, writing code that responds to the physical world, and seeing something actually light up, move, or react.

We chose the Arduino Uno R3 specifically because it’s one of the most beginner-friendly boards available. Every project uses one or two components connected with the minimum wires possible — never a tangle. The goal isn’t to overwhelm; it’s to give one clear, satisfying win each day.

The skills built this week are the same starting point used in AI, Robotics, IoT, Electronics and Engineering.

What your child will build and learn

No prior coding experience needed. This camp is designed for complete beginners who are ready to build something real.

Arduino Tinkering - Ages 10 to 12

Prerequisites: None. Complete beginners welcome.

Your child builds things that actually work. Not worksheets. Not slideshows. Real components, real code, real results. Most kids see their first LED blink within the first hour.

Day 1 - ready to code. VS Code set up with the instructor. By Day 5 they have a live project online.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. This camp is built for complete beginners. PictoBlox uses simple drag-and-drop blocks, and the teacher walks through every wire connection on screen before your child touches the kit.

Yes, completely. The Arduino runs on very low, completely safe power — similar to a TV remote. Wires click into slots on the board just like plugging in headphones. No soldering, no risk.

It’s your child’s to keep permanently. After camp ends, they can continue experimenting with the Arduino and all the components at their own pace.

This module is a purposeful introduction. From here, your child continues on our regular coding/electronics learning journey. As they grow older, they’ll move naturally into our Robotics and IoT module with more advanced hands-on projects.

A Windows or Mac computer (not a tablet) with a working webcam, microphone, and Zoom installed. If it’s a MacBook with only USB-C ports, a simple USB-C hub is needed to connect the Arduino, the same kind used for a mouse or flash drive.

Let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll schedule a make-up session. Saturday is our standard backup day if the regular slot isn’t available that week.

Your child's coding journey doesn't stop here

From first project to real-world skills — we’ll be with your child every step of the way.
